Highland Guard

The Portland Police Bureau’s pipe band was formed in 1998 with the collaboration of officers Brian Kelly, Erin Anderson and Sergeant Stephen Bell.

The band’s mission is to honor and commemorate fallen officers and firefighters throughout the Portland area and the Pacific Northwest.  They perform at memorials, funerals and other events.

The Highland Guard is governed by the tenet: “Nunquam Obliviscar” which is Latin for “We Shall Never Forget.”
